Success begins with training
We, EUROBAUSTOFF, are a cooperation of medium-sized specialised dealers for building materials, tiles and wood. In keeping with our formula for success, “Strength through community”, EUROBAUSTOFF counts almost 500 specialised dealers among its members. As a gateway between manufacturers and specialised dealers, we are always on the look out for employees who are young, have good communication skills and are able to work as part of a team.
Our training opportunities
Locations: Bad Nauheim and Karlsruhe
Office management traders in companies work in a wide range of business sectors, i.e. in industry, in retail or in administration. This wide variety of different tasks requires high levels of organisational and communication skills as well as a love for number crunching and working with a PC.
The main focus of this position lies in handling complex office and business processes. For example, preparing offers, payroll accounting, general accounting, order processing and invoicing, monitoring and coordinating appointments, organising business trips and preparing and following up meetings.
Training usually takes 3 years. It is possible to shorten the training period on account of certain academic qualifications or above-average training performance.
Location: Bad Nauheim
Traders in wholesale and foreign trade are the intermediaries between goods producers/retailers and bulk consumers. In this role, traders in wholesale and foreign trade provide their customers with consistent product ranges which they select from a huge range of domestic and foreign suppliers.
In the wholesale specialism, the main tasks are in the areas of purchasing, calculation, warehouse management and sales. The key aspect here is to master the ability of negotiating with focus and determination, using all modern means of communication. A confident and sociable manner, excellent speaking skills and sound numeracy skills are therefore good prerequisites for traders in wholesale and foreign trade.

In the dual study scheme, the place of learning will continually alternate between the company and university. This will provide a combination of professional experience and academic qualifications at the same time.
In the “SME management” specialism, students consolidate their knowledge of the theoretical foundations and practical skills that qualify them for the various functional areas of a company. The areas of application are as varied as the scope of the company itself. At EUROBAUSTOFF, this means a vast range of different areas: from purchasing and sales to marketing and concept/strategy development.
The practice:
As part of your practical phases in the company, you will get to know various different departments that are relevant to your training. Right from the start, you will be able to get involved and take on responsibility in day-to-day business activity and projects. Trainers and mentors will be available to you as constant points of contact and will also support you in carrying out your tasks during the theoretical phases.
The theory:
You will receive a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree after a study period of 7 semesters. We are a dual partner of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) University of Applied Sciences and offer study places at Bad Vilbel and Wetzlar.
